GE Launches Air Circuit Breaker

The new air circuit breaker provides system protection in electrical distribution systems against overloads and short circuits.

Mumbai,India: GE Energy has launched a new air circuit breaker (ACB) EntelliGuard SL designed specifically for the Indian market that provides system protection in electrical distribution systems against overloads and short circuits.

The air circuit breaker has been designed and developed by the Hyderabad Technology Center Breakers team. The circuit breaker features measurement and communication capabilities, and zone selective interlock to address customers next generation requirements.

Ajay Kumar, CEO, GE Energy’s industrial solutions business in India, says: “This product launch adds a competitive, innovative new product to our portfolio of electrical distribution offerings. The product’s unique features are designed to target the needs of India’s rapidly growing ACB market.”
